Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager at our Palo Alto location with the potential to become the acting store manager.
Essential Functions: Assist with planning, directing, managing, and coordinating sales, service, foods, employees, and operational functions as directed by the higher-level Manager.
This position is responsible to work with a Direct Supervisor and the headquarters for directing and coordinating activities of the organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits.

- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
- Ability to understand and follow rules.
- Ability to understand and control food safety, expiration, prep amount, and loss amount.
- Ability to control labor hours and costs.
- Ability to complete administrative duties.
- Strong time management skills: the ability to multi-task, and prioritize/organize job duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand/walk for approximately 8-10 hours per day
- Available approximately 45 hours per week; able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively, including weekends and closing shifts as needed
- Leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proven track record of exceptional customer service

Pay: From $65,000 to $70,000 per year
